Oppo headphones feature high tech planar-magnetic diaphragms for a state-of-the-art sound.  The headphones are all natively balanced and work extremely well with balanced sources such as the Pono Player in balanced mode.   We offer upgraded cables for these headphones so that you can get the most out of your balanced sources.  We currently stock parts for the Oppo PM-3 headphone, as well as the PM-1 and PM-2. 

Note that while the PM-3 is sold with a unbalanced TRS cable that mates into the headset, the internal connection is a TRRS balanced connector, allowing for fully balanced operation with our TRRS balanced connector. 

PonoPlayer balanced mode termination (dual 3.5mm) to Oppo Headphones. 

Our O3-P line of PonoPlayer cables provides a very high quality balanced mode output from the PonoPlayer to your Oppo PM-3 headphones.  These cables allow the highest possible quality connection for your high resolution Pono player files, balanced output to balanced headphones.  They consist of dual 3.5mm Neutrik plugs which connect into the Pono player dual outputs, and a gold plated TRRS connector for your headphones.  They are made with silver plated copper wire, 24 AWG and Teflon insulation, and feature our soft plush sleeving.

Balanced XLR Termination.

Our O3-B line of cables provide a typical balanced XLR connection to the Oppo PM-3, using the same wire described above. 

You can choose either a 4 pin Male XLR or dual 3 pin male XLR connectors for the PM-3.

Balanced 2.5mm for Astell & Kern and Onkyo DP-X1.

Our O3-AK line of cables provides a balanced output from Astell & Kern players to the Oppo PM-3.   These also work for the Onkyo DP-X1 and other 2.5mm based balanced players.  See our Onkyo/ A&K page for other adapters.  

Other Oppo Models: PM-1 and PM-2.

The Oppo PM-1 and PM-2 use a 2.5mm TS mono connector in each earpiece.  Our cables use a 2.5mm TRS stereo (or TS mono) connector that is built stronger, sturdier and easier to grasp.  They fit perfectly physically and electrically.   Our connectors (TRS version)  are shown below (on the left) next to the original connectors.

Our O2-B line of cables offer other balanced terminations for the Oppo PM-1 or PM-2.
